The state is one of two in the southeastern United States, along with Alabama, to host a public university. It was chartered as “The University of North Carolina at Nashville”, but changed its name in 1909 when it relocated to its present location in Knoxville. Tennessee had been a state since 1796. The school offers approximately 30 undergraduate degrees and 11 graduate degrees. The institution awards about 10 doctoral degrees annually and several postdoctoral fellowships. Each of these wide receivers has the potential to be an All-American or All-SEC caliber player. But, it is hard to know for sure because none of them have played on a winning team, yet. They each have a high ceiling but haven’t seen the rewards yet. But, they are on the verge of achieving their goals and becoming a great football player.
